Rates per day and payment is required upon hiring.

  • Plant and equipment hire is charged at a daily rate of $300 per day plus GST.
  • Sundays and pubic holiday rate may vary.
  • Plant, equipment (including trailer) and operator runs at a day hire fee based on a 6 hour minimum charge of $95 per hour plus GST.
  • Equipment float charge of $150 is an additional cost plus GST.

Any loss or damage to machine keys will have an additional charge.

Terms & Conditions

In addition, please note the following specific conditions:

  • Certification is not required to operate this machine, however you must be competent to do so.
  • Employers hiring for their employees have a ‘Duty of Care’ responsibility under the Act.
  • D & G Concrete Pty Ltd will provide instruction, however it is the customer’s responsibility to operate this machine safely.
  • This equipment can only be used on flat solid ground according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Operators Manual to be read prior to operating this machine (available on commencement of hire via the D & G Concrete Pty Ltd.
  • CAUTION: Check for underground hazards. Dial before you dig.

Insurance:

  • Basic Damage Waiver is included in the hire rates
  • Equipment Waiver Plus (if taken) reduces the excess from 20% of the replacement cost to $500 (Medium Equipment) or $1000 (Large Equipment). It also includes additional cover for Loss or Theft.
  • Equipment Waiver Plus is compulsory for Earthmoving and Compaction equipment.
Pick Up & Drop Off Information

All pickups and drop offs must be in a safe area to unload, demonstrate the equipment and complete paperwork.

Collection & Delivery Information

A request for pick up can be made and will be charge at $150.00 plus GST

Our equipment remains on hire, and therefore chargeable, until it is off hired and a valid Customer Pick Up number issued. To “off hire” equipment please call your hiring branch (0401 181 271) and make sure you obtain a Customer Pick Up number. This will immediately stop the billing and issue the pick-up request.

We aim to complete pick up within a few hours of “off hire”, however this is not always possible. We will inform you of estimated pick up date/time.
You must return the equipment to us when due back at your expense unless you obtain a Customer Pick Up number- see our Hire Contract Conditions.

Ensure all the below conditions are met to avoid any extra charge. We also request you speak to our staff if you have any concerns regarding the safe pickup of our equipment before the equipment is off hired.

At the time of “off hire”, the use of the equipment must have ceased.
Please always ensure there is a safe area for our driver to load the equipment and complete the paperwork.

If our equipment required assembly (eg scaffold, temporary fencing etc) after delivery, it should be disassembled ready for transport when our driver arrives for pick up or hire continues.

Our vehicles will need to have access and egress for any equipment that needs to be loaded by lifting devices and tilt trays.

Equipment to be grouped together where it was dropped off, if there are any special circumstances please inform our staff when you call them for off hiring.
